World number 4 Wozniacki had had a tough semi final draws against the number 8th Agnieszka Radwanska. Wozniacki had a tough fight and almost resulted in about 10 break points out of which she claimed half.
Radwanska raised her game in the second set though, and gave even tougher fight to Wozniacki. Alternatively Jankovic easily won against Samantha Stosur taking it 6-2 and 6-4.
While the first set had been an easy one for Jankovic who started off a flier Stosur though could come up improved in the second set but she didn’t have energies or serves to take Jankovic to another set.
Jankovic credited her ability to get on top of Stosur’s serve for achieving the straight-sets win.
The finals will be trickier than one assumes it to be but the Serb will go into the finals as favorite, but one cannot write off Denmark’s Wozniacki so early though as she can overpower opponents with her swift volleys and equally good aces.
