Belgian Grand Prix Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps 2010. Backround:
Everyone, drivers and fans, loves the Belgian Grand Prix. Spa-Francorchamps has always been infamous for its unpredictable weather, rain, rain & even sleet!. The Belgian Grand Prix has been known to rain for twenty years in a row. The course throws up numerous & sometimes trecherous tests for drivers to confront parts of the course that are clear and bright, almost blinding, while another stretch is rainy and slippery. Most participants today say that the Spa course is the most difficult course that remains on the F1 calendar.
The Belgian F1 Grand Prix has created some memorable races. No one can forget the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix which took place in torrential conditions. The race was originally halted after a huge accident when thirteen of the twenty-two runners at the first corner. The downpour caused minimal visibility, and Michael Schumacher ran into the back of David Coulthard, an event that angered Schumacher so much he stormed into the McLaren garage to confront Coulthard, claiming he had tried to kill him!
CLBuzz are not expecting such histrionics following Belgian Grand Prix’s 2009 results: The Pole position was won by Italy’s Giancarlo Fisichella of Force India-Mercedes with a time of 1:46.308.
On the Podium were Finland’s Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari, 1h 23m 50.995s. Along with the formidable, Giancarlo Fisichella (Force India-Mercedes), of Italy, +0.939s
Germany’s Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull-Renault made 3rd with +3.875s.
Fastest lap was won also by Vettel, (Red Bull-Renault 1:47.263).
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps’s circuit is legendary & will test the skills of the most experienced driver, it will provide a real mix of corners with low and high speeds. Every part of the circuit will test skills of cars and drivers, like mechanical grip, technical abilities, etc
No one can predict the winners of this years Hungarian Grand Prix?
CLBuzz predicts it for Giancarlo Fisichella again but impossible to tell with certainty.
