Australia has already won the one day match NatWest Series against England 4-0 and the 5th match will not be that significant unless Australia is looking for a clean sweep finish.

The win in the 4th ODI at the Lords must have meant a lot to the baggie green teama as its here they lost the coveted urn to the England. The win here meant that Australia won the series with 3 more matches to go.

There will be no dearth for excitement as the arch rivals always are at their best to sting at the opponents.

With Champions Trophy drawing close the win will make the Australian team certainly confident nonetheless England can still come back if they work out and execute their game plans well.

The 5th ODI of the NatWest Series will be at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. We have had seen the Trent Bridge a lot during the summer it being host to the T20 world cup and was had been epic venue to slam out Australia after they were beaten here by the Lanka.

However, there is an interesting statistic here England played 20 matches here and they won 9, lost 10 and tied once against the Australia. Australia played 5 matches at Trent Bridge and won 3 and lost 1. Australia will like to narrow that gap in all circumstances and their bowlers have been so far doing amazing. If it was Nathan Bracken in the second ODI, Mitchell Johnson the third and Brett Lee in the fourth who have been instrumental for the team’s win. Clarke is certainly a happy man to see his bowlers falling into the rhythm at the right time. He cannot ask for more but would certainly make sure that the team continues same momentum.

England though will rest their old warhorse Paul Collingwood and he will be replaced by James Anderson.

Will need to see how the small ground of Trent Bridge will respond to the ODI. Th wicket is good here and a high scorer is anticipated. I don’t see one reason why Australia will not make it 5-0. They are the favorites.
