Floyd Mayweather v Juan Manuel Marquez Video Replay Highlights, Results

The much anticipated fight between undefeated Floyd Mayweather and five times champion Juan Manuel Marquez for welterweight is now officially for September 19, 2009 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight was to be played on July 18, 2009but it was deferred to September reschedule as Mayweather sustained a rib injury during his training.

The fight will be televised as a PPV (pay-per-view) event. One is ready to go and the other is rearing to return in the bout. It will also be the first fight for Mayweather after he defeated Hatton which was almost a couple of years back. Mayweather issued a statement that his doctor cleared him for the fight. He says, “I am relieved to be cleared to fight as I was already looking forward to getting back in the ring. Trust me, September 19 is a great weekend for boxing, and all of my fans, of which there are many Mexicans too, can certainly hold on to their hats and sombreros when I get back in to the ring and show them what they have been missing these past 18 months. I will destroy Marquez and reclaim my rightful place as boxing’s pound-for-pound king, all in one night,. Don’t miss it.

Marquez too is all geared up and the Mexican believes that he will definitely win the match for his fans and his country. Mayweather on the other hand has pledged that he is going to show to his fans that he is still a fighter, no matter how many days he is out of it. However, Mayweather is little apprehensive with regards to the effect of one of the longest layoffs in his career. But he is quick to say that unless he fights out with the word’s best fighter he will not know where he stands.

Tune in to PPV-HBO channel to enjoy the explosive evening of boxing.

Boxing is just like the WWF, made-up. I saw the fight, yes he won by decision, a cream would have been a clear knockout, did not happen. Floyd Mayweather maybe the best boxer of all time to beat up on washed up fighters. So Floyd Mayweather, did not make the weight for the fight, so he heavier than the weight class that he is fighting in, and his opponent was older, shorter and weigh less. Are we impressed that he won, what a charade. Had we seen him come back and defeat Pacman, Cotto, Mosley or Margarito, then maybe he would deserve our attention, till then, snore, snore. Now we find out that this piece of work owes our government millions of dollars. Why should we believe this guy? I guess the rumors are true that he did everything to avoid fighting Antonio Margarito, before his unexpected first retirement, chicken.

I disagree wwith floyd being the best fighter to step foot on the planet or to lace up a paur of gloves.
However I do think he is a phenomenal fighter very adaptive, to every opponets fighting style. He is a slow starter and pac-man may win the first round or two,
but I’m thouroughly convenced that floyd will with out a reasonable doubt win the fight. Not to take anything away from pac-man he is great as well. So much style and grace, very unorthodox puncher with great power in that straight left hand and his foot work which allows him to do so but with that said floyd will figure out where manny is valnurable because everyone has them and capitalize on them. Lets also remember that floyd has the best defense in the game of boxing.
I believe if manny is as good as he says or as people feel what is it to submit to a mandatory blood test
Just do it and let’s fight they both are obligated to perform the public wants to see it, and we are a paying public in a reccession
