France prevails in Group E and the team has been playing as a well knit unit and has been undefeated so far. Nando De Colo’s jump had been a treat to watch. Sadly though, people never gave a serious look at the French men, they have been doing really great and people never predicted them to be coming to this level of the Eurobasket 2009.

But in all logic France and Greece have been consistently playing well in the tournament. But, in general, the beauty of the game has gone and they seem to play the NBA-like basketball matches jumping around and basketing; Euorbasket 2009 as such isn’t something so creative or passion filled. France will look forward to carry the momentum in the tournament.

Slovenia shocked Turkey but still they are a team with tall players as well as stamina. If Turkey could reach finals they could well become champs, but Turkey should go to Semis and it’s not an easy path. Players to watch in Turkey will be Hedo Turkoglu and Ersan Ilyasova. I love to see Turks cruise through.
