It was a disappointing outing for most of the Indian Batsmen and if it wasn’t for Harbhajan and Praveen Kumar, the loss would have been more humiliating for the home side.

With a game down, Dhoni and his men would be looking forward to make a better match out of it during the Day Night fixture in Nagpur. Again, they need a good start in the beginning, Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir (who scored a fine fifty in the game) would need to come up with a better display on what would be a better of a track at the Orange City. Again, Harbhajan, Nehra, Sharma and Kumar would need to bowl a tighter line to restrict the strong Australian batting line up.

Australians, on the other hand, would look forward to improve their performance with the bowl. They gave away far too many extras and had a poor showing in the final few overs of the game. Batting would again revolve around a good start from Watson, Paine and a clinical display from Ponting, Hussey and White.

The toss may play a huge factor there, as dew may influence the result in the end. With a thriller starting the Hero Honda Cup, expect things to only get better at Nagpur in the Second ODI between India and Australia.
