Tendulkar was there to finish off the Indian innings after support from blitzkrieg run getter Sehwag (28 balls 44 runs) and support by Gambhir (32 runs) and Dinesh Kartik (36) Yuvraj came to team after 2 ODIs but he could not stand for long. He was out for 23 runs and it was with Dinesh Kartik, that Tendulkar slowly and steadily took home side to victory with his unbeaten 96. Sehwag’s captaincy deserves praise here. He stood in place of banned MS Dhoni but has done very well; the way he maneuvered bowling resources was praiseworthy and that’s when Jadeja became a hit with his left arm spin bowling.

Both the teams now head to Eden Gardens, the cricket lovers’ heaven in India and all Indian fans expect their team to go for a kill and win the series off. The Sri Lankan team on the contrary is not one to give up so easily and they will play to even the series to carry forward the excitement through last match. Eden Gardens will be up for some thriller for sure.
