IPL Delhi Daredevils 2010 – IPL 3 Delhi Daredevils Team
Delhi Daredevils are one of the most popular and balanced team among the eight IPL franchise teams owned by GMR Holdings. As an icon player, Virender Sehwag led the team in the first IPL occasion. Getting a shoulder injury forced him to quit the role of a leader and in IPL 09 season the captaincy passed over to the current captain Goutam Gambhir.
The other key players for the Daredevils are Tillakaratne Dilshan., AB De Villiers, David Warner, Paul Collingwood, David Warner, Owais Shah, Daniel Vettori, Glen McGrath, Dirk Nannes, Manoj Tiwari and Ashis Nehra.
In the IPL 08 season, they had a decent performance with a good start by winning four games in five matches. But they fumbled in the middle of the tournament. However, their performances were well enough to secure them a semi-final berth.
The Daredevils dominated throughout the entire season of the IPL 09 and secured the top place in the league table despite playing without Virender Sehwag. However, AB De Villiers and Tillakaratne Dilshan both were in prime form and helped the team on most occasions to secure victories. But they disappointed the fans once again as they lost out in the semi finals.
For their outstanding performance, they managed to qualify for the Champions League twenty20 but they failed to clear the group stages.
I like the team of Delhi DareDevils……………..
Coz they have the passion to win every match and also mine fav. players in this team…….Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag.
So i wish gauti will create a great achivement in this session 2010 and will win the tournament. And i also wanna see him the Next Indian Captian.
