Jenson Button Claims Formula One Championship in Brazil. Jenson Button drew the curtains on the Formula One Championship with one race remaining in a year that he dominated almost all the circuits along side his team Brawn GP.

It was a combination of some brilliance coupled with some dramatic incidents that helped Button to a fifth position in the penultimate race, Brazilian Grand Prix 2009 in Interlagos and the title.

Meanwhile, Sebestain Vettel and Rubens Barrichello finished forth and eighth in the race, which took away any chance that they had for the title.

The 29-year old is now the 10th driver from Britain to claim the greatest prize in the world of motorsports. He dethroned another British driver, Lewis Hamilton, and claimed what he believes was the one thing that he wanted all his life.

Even though he started of on the right foot with 6 victories of the first 7 races, but he was unable to keep up his form in the rest of the races. Still, what mattered in the end was a Championship and this is what he accomplished.

Brawn GP also had a reason to smile, as they dominated the constructors table and eventually won the title with another solid performance in the Brazilian Grand Prix.
