The Mantri Karnataka Premier League is ready to take off on the 9th September 2009. But there had been loads of glamor added to it with the new KPL anthem Video that was launched yesterday.
The KPL anthem brought in performers on screen and performers on ground together, of course making it look like a complete package of celebrating cricket.
The anthem for the Mantri KPL begins with Namma Manasalu… Namma KPL. The music for the anthem is being given by Ricky Kej and sung by Avinash Chebbi and M D Pallavi. Lyricist Kaviraj has penned the lyrics of the song. The video of the KPL anthem runs for a duration of 3 minutes and 25 seconds. And, this is the first time in Karnataka that a video has been shot on such a massive and rich scale, which comprises of celebrities from almost all fields in Karnataka.

The KPL will have teams form the major districts of the state that are as follows: Bangalore Brigadiers, Provident Bangalore, Mangalore United, Belagavi Panthers, Mysore Maharajas, Shamanur Davengere Diamonds and Malnad Gladiators. The cricketing fever is on in Karnataka.
