LFP announced the fixtures of the Spanish La Liga 2009-10, and Real Madrid will begin the La Liga campaign 2009 to Deportivo La Coruna on August 29th and 30th at home.

That apart, as regards the La Liga Points table is a tabular representation of the soccer match details with regards to teams and their standing. The La Liga table gives a simple and a convenient indication about the La Liga matches played. The points table consists of rows and each row highlights every match detail. For instance the first column has the serial number, which represents the rank of the team followed by the team name and the third column has the header ‘Pld’, which denotes the number of matches played by that respective team. The fourth column is highlighted with the header ‘W’ that indicates the number of matches won by the team in the league followed by ‘D’, which shows the number of matches that were drawn by a particular team.
Then you have an indication of ‘L’ that gives you the number of matches a specific team has lost. The ‘GF’ is an indication of goals scored and ‘GA’ shows you the goals against details. ‘GD’ refers to goal difference and ‘P’ represents points. The points table of La Liga also gives us information about the team’s performance at home and away.
