Watch Le Mans Series 2010 Hungaroring -- Free Live Stream: Situated just 19 km from metropolitan Budapest, the Hungaroring was started in 1986 when Formula 1 decided to take advantage of the end of the cold war. The circuit, with the nickname of “Turnstile”, is notoriously slow & narrow making overtaking extremely difficult even though a new rapid stretch was constructed in 2003. To be a contender at Hungaroring you need a successful qualification session, perfect grip adjustments of the car, total concentration of the drivers, combined with a rapid refuelling strategy -essential in endurance racing- are what you must do rin order to win at this circuit.
2010 sees a fascinating new challenge for the Le Mans Series drivers who will be driving there under, hopefully, a full moon. May they be as lucky as the F1 drivers who only suffered rain once on the Hungarian circuit!
2009 ended with Pole for Vitaphone and AF Corse, In GT1, after an incident-packed race, Vitaphone Racing Team inherited the win after the K plus K Motorsport Saleen S7R, which crossed the line in first position, was expelled following post-race scrutineering for failing the airbox test. In GT2, Prospeed Competition’s Westbrook and Collard fought from the back of the grid to claim the victory for their nr 60 Porsche 997 GT3 RSR.
