The Sri Lankans who had a lightning start to the tournament after beating the South Africa on their home ground all of sudden emerged as the favorites but the next match against England shocked everyone as the Ashes who were predicted to become the losing side, proved everyone wrong with their emphatic win over the Lankans.
Ashes had six-wicket victory, which has bruised the Lankans’ confidence to a great extent but they will hopefully leave the ghosts behind and bounce back strongly the Kiwis on Sunday.
It was one bad day for the strong Sri Lankans and most certainly they will compensate it with a win against Kiwis.
