Having played a superb test and winning it by a 2-0 in the three-match series, the Sri Lankan team looked in a complete domination even in the One Day series as well. In the 5 matches they have already won three matches and with ease.

The 4th One Day between the hosts Sri Lanka and Pakistan will be played on Friday, August 07, 2009, at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and it will be a day-night match starting 14:30 hours local time and 09:00 hours GMT.

Sri Lankan team looks balanced and the bowlers are doing great job in the first two one day matches having restricting the Pakistan team under the 200 score. Jayawardene steered a clear series win for the Sri Lankan in the 3rd ODI with a brilliant opening partnership of 202 runs between him and Upul Tharanga.

Pakistan looks wounded and it had totally exposed team’s weakness in the earlier matches to say the least and failed miserably. In the 3rd one dayer though, they kind of posted a decent total on board. However, the Lankan team is in too good a form to delay their series win against Pakistan and won it easily.

Younis Khan now needs to call his shots to motivate his team and play the remaining two one day matches to save them from grace and register at least a win. Mohammed Amar who is now the latest sensation of Pakistan fast bowling armory will be the man to watch and we can hope that this 17-year-old lad can bring some good news for the team.

In all likelihood though Sri Lanka will start as favorites and I don’t see a reason why they cant win the fourth straight win against the wounded Pakistan.
