Sri Lanka vs Pakistan T20 2009 Live Cricket Score – Highlights

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20 Live Cricket Score Highlights

Pakistan tour of Sri Lanka, T20I: Sri Lanka v Pakistan at Colombo (RPS), Aug 12, 2009
Venue: R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
Match Time: 12:30 GMT (18:00 IST)

It has not only been a Test series win for the Lankans, the Tigers have outclassed Pakistanis in the five matches ODI series with a 3-2 win as well. Now, it’s the lone T20 game that will be played tomorrow in Premadasa Stadium, and the Sri Lankan authorities have just announced their 15-man team.

The news in the Lankan camp is that Mahela Udawatte, the left hand batsman who last played in the T20 match against Pakistan in October at Canada has been included in the team. However, names that did not figure in the 15 member squad are Dilhara Fernando and Samaraweera.

On the other hand Pakistan who just won a consolation prize by crushing Sri Lanka in the 5th One Dayer will definitely try to improve upon their T20 records. We are expecting some fast-paced bowling attack with lot more variation from the Pakistan side in the Premadasa stadium tomorrow as the team already has bowlers like Imran Nazir and Abdul Razzak.

We need to see how Shahid Afridi, who has been appointed by PCB to captain the side for the T20 matches as a replacement for Younis Khan, will lead his team for a win against Pakistan.

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20 International Final Score

Pakistan 172/5 (20/20 ov)
Sri Lanka 120 (18.1/20 ov)

Pakistan won by 52 runs. Afridi is the man of the match.
