Sugar Shane Mosley is a 6-times world champion and he is a champion in 3 divisions. He will meet current Welterweight champion Andre Berto. The bout is set for January 30, 2010 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be broadcast on HBO’s World Boxing Championship live. Mosley will have to overcome challenge from the unbeaten WBA Welterweight champ Andre Berto and he earnestly looks forward to.

Andre Berto otherwise fought about 26 times, and he defended his belt for 3 times; the most recent was against Juan Urango when he had won it on unanimous decision.

The 38-year-old Shane Mosley on the other hand last when he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr after Mayweather won unanimously against Juan Manuel Marquez last September. Mosley then challenged Mayweather and it went off control and the pair was set off by the respective attendants.

Given the age, people might think that Mosley has now little or no time to get a showdown against a fighter of Mayweather ranks. However, in boxing one can expect the unexpected and Mosley might give a show to make us believe he still has a lot of boxing in him. 38 is not a age to give up. It’s the age to stand and fight. Mosley is capable of doing that.
