There have been a lot of talking about who will figure in the England’s last 11 and there are doubts and worries concerning Freddie’s return to the team as well. Strauss will be captain and Alastair Cook will be the vice-captain for the entire test series. As the first test match between the 2 nations is drawing close there are several doubts as regards the playing 11 and their position. KP’s return should bring change in the English dressing room and Ian Bell’s coming back to form is a positive sign definitely and there are a couple of youngsters who are doing consistently good for the side including Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann and Anderson.

As regards South Africa, Makhaya Ntini will be coming back and a new face named Alviro Petersen will strengthen the batting lineup of South Africa. He is a known strong domestic player and the team looks to him in the absence of their experienced old warhorse Jacques Kallis who will not be available for the first test at least for sure.

South Africa is not amazingly superior to its counterpart England; they are a stronger team when it came to batting with many batsmen including Smith, Ab De Villiers, Amla, JP Duminy and Boucher; however their bowling isn’t at the best and I only feel Ntini and Dale Steyn who can threaten the English batting.

English will have to believe in themselves and have to believe that the South Africa aren’t unbeatable and start their game with a positive frame of a mind. South Africa at home will definitely play for a result.
