The South African captain Graeme Smith spoke highly about his teammates after the first test match but regretted the missed opportunity, as the match was a draw. In fact no test match fan would have expected one to be as thriller as the first test. It was almost a nail biter and the last day post tea session was well a thriller just like T20 if I am not exaggerating.

South Africa were a wee bit away from a win but England batsmen Collingwood and Onion’s solid batting towards the end drew the match much to the South Africa’s despair.

Proteas had lost to Australia during their last match in Durban, which is factor for team England to consider. And also the last three encounters between England and South Africa at Durban has been a draw.

However, both the teams will be looking to break the jinx this time around.

Weather conditions will be the crucial factor at Durban and let us hope that it will not play a spoilsport in the 2nd test match.

The match is head to head and if Steyn makes a come back to the South African camp then they will fancy their chances to win the game, but the Englishmen can just surprise the Proteas, which they have done earlier too. So, this one can be a blinder for us.
