Nov 29 (10:00 local, 08:00 GMT)
Watch South Africa Vs England 4th ODI 29 Nov Live Score, Highlights 2009 here. Port Elizabeth will host the fourth ODI between South Africa and visitors England. Out of the 3 matches so far played the first ODI was canceled due to rain and the second ODI gave a convincing win to visitors at Centurion bringing some excitement into the series.
England went into the 3rd match as favorites but thanks to dashing batsman Abraham de Villiers made 100 in 75 balls and helped power the South African batting. They have put a mammoth total of 354 and De Villiers’ 85-ball 121 runs show was supported by Hashim Amla’s 86 (and mind you, he had come in to the team in the absence of Kallis) and Smith and Petersen’s half centuries. They could beat England by a big margin of 112 runs.
Among the bowling department Wayne Parrell took his career best bowling figures of taking 5 wickets for 48 runs. England went into to chase the mammoth total but lose their top 3 batsmen for 50+ runs and although Kevin Pieterson was there, it became a little too much of an asking. Paul Collingwood although pitched with some blistering knock of 86, it was never easy for the English men to chase it with poor support and some outstanding fielding by the Proteas.
The series is now even at 1-1 and thus there is some more build on the excitement into it! The teams will head to Port Elizabeth to challenge again and cricket lovers can’t afford to miss this excitement for sure! Live South Africa Vs England 4th ODI -- Cricket Score Highlights will be placed below
