Zimbabwe tour of South Africa, 1st ODI: South Africa v Zimbabwe
Venue: Benoni, Time: (10:00 local, 08:00 GMT), Nov 8, 2009

Zimbabwe is touring South Africa and will play 2 ODI matches. The first is scheduled for November 08, 2009 at Willowmoore Park Benoni.

Benoni is known as a good batting wicket and when South Africa plays you can only expect a visual treat here especially when Proteas come with in-form players such as Gibbs, Dumini, Kallis and Smith.

For Zimbabwe though they seem to be on track with a new franchise system falling in place there seem to a return of players including former captain Alistair Campbell, Dave Houghton to their official group and Campbell is now the chairman of selectors and he should bring in some good charm to the erstwhile flamboyant African team. There are some real talent in the team include Masakadza, Charles Coventry, Stuart Matsikenyeri, Prosper Utseya. They can at least hope to get back into some nice rhythm playing with a leader like South Africa.

For South Africa though they will take this opportunity to get back into their groove and will look forward to give their best. I will not be surprised if Graeme Smith will experiment with shuffling the batting order and giving ball to someone like Gibbs or himself doing some bowling!
