Sri Lanka vs New Zealand 2nd T20

2nd T20I: Sri Lanka v New Zealand at Colombo (RPS)
Sep 4 (19:00 local, 13:30 GMT)

Finally, a win came in the way of the Kiwis and their failing morale got some boost with a win in the first T20 they played day before yesterday.

Kiwis beat the Lankans in the first T20 match by 3 runs. The question that surfaces at this junction is if Sri Lanka had become an over confident team and a little lackadaisical or is it that the New Zealanders is getting their loose ends together with Vettori and Oram at their peak performance?

A win in the T20 match is expected if the team plays well on all the quarters against its opponent; be it bowling, batting or fielding. It is required to outsmart your rivals. With Kiwis performance on field in the first T20, we can expect that the team will get more geared up to win the T20 series to apply balm on their Test series loss. But, the Kiwi Batsmen need to rise up to the occasion for their bowlers to clinch a win.

The Sri Lanka players were consistently superior to the Kiwis in the recent series and the frustrated Lankans will not leave anything to equalize the T20 series. Be it oldie Sanath Jayasuriya or Dilshan’s heroism; the Lankans will fight boldly against the likes of Vettori, Oram and Shane Bond for their celebration.

Check out who will have the last laugh.
