Sri Lanka v New Zealand Tri-Series Highlights, Live Cricket Score

Sri Lanka v New Zealand at Colombo (RPS), Compaq Cup
Tue Sep 8, 09:00 GMT | 14:30 Local
The test series between the two teams ended in favor of the Sri Lanka with Lankans almost doing a sweep at that. One should not ignore the efforts of New Zealand team in the second test. I especially liked the way Vettori played. He can be perfectly tagged as an all rounder after taking 5 wickets and scoring a ton.
Any time kiwis share a remark that they are bad outside their home and it was proved true yet again. The team though bounced back and won the two T20 matches against the more resilient Lankans. It surprised me as to why the Sangakkara men are failing at the short version of the game when they proved better in test matches.
McCullum was in his devastating form yet again so was Jesse Ryder and Martin Guptill. All of them put brave show to give kiwis 170/4 in 20 overs. Sri Lanka failed to chase the mammoth total and were 148 for 8 at 20 overs. Shane Bond had been hostile with the ball for the Lankans.
Now with two sides winning each of the series, the one day series between them is poised to be interesting and exciting.
Looks like New Zealand team has adjusted to the sub continent climate and the injuries in the dressing room are slowly paving way to seasoned players. The team will certainly play for a kill being high with T20 series win.
Sri Lanka will not give up so easily and we will hopefully see a season of Dilshan and Samaraweera (honestly this man had a great come back after bullet injury in Pakistan). Great series on cards ahead!
