Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 1st ODI Live Cricket Score

After a test series win against Pakistan in the home ground at Colombo, Sri Lankan team is all set for their magic spell in the one day matches as well. The first of the 5 one day match series will be played in Dambulla on 30th July.

In this one day series against Pakistan Chaminda Vaas doesn’t find a place in the Lankan team. Instead, after almost four years of oblivion Thilan Samaraweera got the call. Muttiah Muralitharan and Lasith Malinga have been included, after they missed the test series due to injuries. The bowling attack of Sri Lankan team seems balanced with spinners complementing the seamers. However with Murali and Malinga returning we can only expect the best bowling.

On the other side, beaten in the tests, Pakistan is poised to taking revenge against Lanka in the upcoming one day series. Pakistan has announced its 16-member squad and there are few changes.

Shoaib Akhtar is given a pass again; reasons being unfit to play. However, surprise inclusions are Imran Nazir, the opening batsman and Rana Naved, the all rounder. Additionally, Nasir Jamshed has been picked up in place of Salman Butt. Rookie Umar Akmal also finds a place in the squad. However key player would be star all rounder Shahid Afridi. It will be interesting to see the strategies of Younis Khan, and team Pakistan expects he can steer his team to winning habit again.
