Liverpool is one unlucky team to have missed on title despite beating Manchester United. It will be one team to be in the title race for sure even this season.

Today they will take on Tottenham Hotspurs and certainly it will be an interesting fixture. Their captain Steven Gerrard looks like a doubtful entry into the Premier League match owing to his injury.

For Liverpool, though Gerrard’s injury could give chance to Yossi Benayoun but well Gerrard should be playing in to make it a good start for Liverpool. And, will Lucas Leiva prove a good replacement to Xabi Alonso is the question that’s drilling the minds of Liverpool’s fans. Fernando Torres should execute well Rafa Benitez’s plans to stand chances and keep them alive in the title race leave alone the match against Tottenham.
