After a disappointing 138-run loss in the Deserts of Abu Dhabi, New Zealand will have to dig deep, if they stand a chance to even have a sniff against the Pakistanis.

If everything goes in the manner similar to the first one, second match of the Cool & Cool Cup will end in the hands of the Pakistan before you know it. Kiwis will require a huge contribution from their top order led by the swashbuckling Right Hander, Brendon McCullum, who has been out of sorts in the recent past. Bowling department will need more penetration from Bond, Vettori and Butler. There was a time, when the hosts were tattering, but poor depth bowling allowed them to get through.

The only thing that Pakistanis need to work on is their top order batsmen, who are quite inconsistent. Shahid Afridi showed why he still is a threat to the opposition. Again, Kamran Akmal was wonderful, when he was playing along side Afridi in the partnership that took their side to a respectable score. If they can score a considerable total on the board, it would be quite difficult for the touring side, as Ajmal, Gul, Aamir, Afridi and Razzaq would be quite difficult to get away.

There are expectations that Kiwis will bounce back, but with the conditions heavily favoring the hosts, it would be a difficult task ahead of them in the Second ODI.
