Backround: The 2010 Turning Stone Resort Championship takes place the the beautiful Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, in Verona in Upstate New York. It’s also the first regularly-scheduled PGA TOUR event to be played on American Indian Lands. Turning Stone is always an exciting chapter in the PGA Tour calendar with the current champion being Matt Kuchar as part of the FedExCup Season. In 2010, the event will move to August 2 -- 8 and become part of the main PGA Tour season, although it will be an “alternate” event scheduled in opposition to the World Golf Championships tournament, namely the Bridgestone Invitational.
