Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United Live Score & English Premier League Highlights – 23rd August 2009

Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United

English Premier League: West Ham vs. Tottenham
Date: 23 August 2009 Kick-off: 1330 BST
Venue: Upton Park Date: Sunday

The arch rivals of London West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspurs will face each other at the Upton Park this Sunday.

The match is set to begin at 1.30 BST and the clash between these two teams is expected to be a live wire to say the least; the Hammers will come charging in this match after defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers in their first (but to make note that the Hammers have won just 2 of their last 15 Premier League face offs with the Hotspurs). Now they want to try and level off against the Hotspurs.

Gianfranco Zola’s team seem to be a well-equipped team and could be a tough side to beat. Dean Ashton, Luis Boa Morte and Valon Behrami will be absent from the Hammers side, as they are injured. Mark Noble and Carlton Cole are expected emerge stronger in this match.

The Tottenham Hotspur team has had an amazing victory against Liverpool and the Hull City. The team is bubbling with confidence and the team’s striker Jermain Defoe is in a superb form.

They have goaled 33 times whenever they played away from home so they will like to do it again at the Upton Park. However, the Spurs will miss out Jermaine Jenas, Michael Dawson, Gareth Bale and Jonathan Woodgate. It is definitely hard to predict the winning side.
