In the WEC 44 Cerrone lost the interim lightweight title against Benson Henderson and if at all he aims to reclaim the title Cerrone has to defeat Ratcliff. Cerrone has got superb tactical and counter-striking skills that are unquestionable in comparison to Ratcliff who lacks both.
And this is where Cerrone can be a dangerous fighter who can tame his opponent.
Ratcliff’s defensive mechanism fails when his opponent overpowers him and the seemingly impressive mixed martial arts fighter makes basic errors that draw a lot of criticism.
Ratcliff needs to overcome his flaws by flying ninja kicks to keep Cerrone under control else Ratcliff is in for some serious trouble. And Ratcliff’s smart footwork will also prove to be of no use in front of the superior fighting skills of Cerrone.
