The West Indies team will face mighty Australians in the Champions Trophy from the Group A on September 26, 2009 at the Wanderers.

West Indies had a poor start to its campaign at the tournament, and they lost to Pakistan in their previous match of the tournament.

Still what was good to see was some terrific display of their bowling attack before they succumbed to the Pakistani team. Their past record of being two time runners-up and winners of the 2004 Champions trophy say they are good team, but then there are far too many controversies surrounding the current West Indies team, which is just being reflected in their performance as well, and the upcoming match against Australia will be too tough one for them, if I am not rude to them.

Australia had had an emphatic ODI series victory against the England after losing Ashes urn to the English; they won the seven ODI series with six straight wins to their credit.

And the Aussies are the mightier side who will most certainly steal the game from the second rated team from the Caribbean.

Quite the contrary, West Indies need to forget their previous match and should come with a positive frame of mind to make something out of the upcoming game; at least put up some decent fight.
