The 23rd Annual Royal Rumble is a pay per view event that is produced by WWE will commence on 31st January 2010 at the Philips Arena, Atlanta, Georgia. 30 players will be participating in the event and two men will fight in the ring at a time and after every 90 seconds a new player will enter the ring. This definitely sounds pretty much exciting.

Until now, only 24 wrestlers have been listed for the upcoming event. The wrestler is eliminated if he is thrown over the top of the two ropes, and both his feet should touch the ground. The final wrestler who remains in the ring will be announced as the winner.

The five matches for the event are as follows: 30-man Royal Rumble match; and the winner of this match will gain a world championship match who can choose a title shot at the WrestleMania XXVI. However predictions and betters pick their best 5 for this: I think the final 5 at the royal rumble will be:

  • John Cena
  • Chris Jericho
  • Triple H
  • Batista
  • HBK

There will be a singles match between Christian vs Ezekiel Jackson for the ECW Championship. I believe Jackson might well crush Christian without too much of a hassle.

Then, there is Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship which is part of the event. Although Rey Mysterio is considered an underdog, I pin my hopes on him and the match can swing in either one’s favor. This will be definitely a kicker of a fight at the venue.

Then, Sheamus will fight against Randy Orton in the singles match for the WWE Championship. Orton has an edge and he looks hungrier than ever to win the fight.

And then, Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James in the singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship. It would be interesting to see if Mickie James will go hard against her eternal bully. I believe that Michelle McCool will continue her wrath against her chicken.
