WWE SummerSlam Highlights 2009 – Review, Video Replay
1. Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in a Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
2. Montel Vontavious Porter defeated Jack Swagger in a Singles match
3. Chris Jericho and The Big Show defeated Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and JTG) in a Tag Team match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship.
4. Kane defeated The Great Khali (with Ranjin Singh) in a Singles match
5. D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) defeated The Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) in a Tag Team match
6. Christian defeated William Regal (with Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson) in a Singles match for the ECW Championship
7. Randy Orton defeated John Cena in a Singles match for the WWE Championship
8. CM Punk defeated Jeff Hardy in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the World Heavyweight Championship
WWE Summerslam 2009 Highlights Review
The professional wrestling event, 22nd annual WWE Summerslam 2009 happened on August 23rd at the Staples Center, LA, California.
The fans received pre-show 15 Diva Battle Royal wherein Beth Phoenix reigned as champ beating rest of the 14 divas.
The World Heavyweight Championship event TLC between Hardy and CM Punk which feature in the WWE Summerslam 2009 highlights. Jeff got on to a ladder and released Swanton Bomb and when it needed he declined medical attention as well. But it was relatively new kid on the block, CM Punk that defeated Hardy and taken the title of World Heavyweight Champion. And then the bout between Randy Orton and John Cena wherein Randy Orton won and in the WWE Intercontinental championship Rey Mysterio smacked down Dolph Ziggler, although Dolph put up a great fight.
For the Unified WWE Tag Team championship, Chris Jericho and Big Show is the winner. Other highlights of WWE Summerslam 2009 include the win of D Generation X against The Legacy, Kane’s win in the Singles match defeating The Great Khali and win of MVP over Jack Swagger in another Singles match. The ECW championship in this year WWE Summerslam is won by Christian defeating William Regal.
The PPV wrestling event was the most awaited one and that generated much heat to everybody’s enthusiasm. No wonder it lived up to fans expectations.
