Unified Tag Title Match:
Jericho and the champs of Big Show versus Cryme Tyme. While Jericho has been doing great to get the team with Big Show Cryme Tyme is a relatively new kid on the block. Since the tag belts are devalued for long time now to put Jericho, Edge/Big Show in this tag scene implies to bring back value points to the division of this tag.
Intercontinental Title Match:
Rey Mysterio vs Dolph Ziggler This match showcases a relatively new face Dolph Ziggler, former member of Spirit Squad, and I feel Kenny Dykstra would have done a better job at that because I believe he is more talented than Ziggler. Anyways, his athletic moves and speed could thrill fans and hope he gives a decent fight with Mysterio
D Generation X vs Legacy
This fight will see DX reunions. But maybe they should have tried Road Chyna, Dogg and X-Pac. It also looks like this is hyped to be the main event. Could this prove a setback to Legacy, well I take it that way.
World Heavyweight Title Match:
Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk. This should be a great card and all my eyes on this one match. While CM Punk is new kid, still the two have had many H2H fights so I don’t expect this to be anything less than the most exciting one.
WWE Title Match:
The fight between Randy Orton and John Cena is the main event. Considering the fact that these 2 are quite popular in the WWE circles, unarguably it becomes the main card of the event. We have seen though both of them fight many times including during SummerSlam 2007.
Then, following some drama at the Bash where The Great Khali was assaulted by Kane. No wonder Khali has been waiting for an opportunity to take a revenge and now that time has come when The Great Khali and Kane will fight at the Summerslam 2009. Can Kane overcome Khali’s challenge?
